跟人一樣，隨著年紀愈來愈大，動物也會得到關節炎。基於動物的天性，開始時他們會盡量隱藏自己的弱點和痛楚，看起來像沒事一樣，可是他們同樣也敵不過時間和身體的退化，當主人察覺得到的時侯，問題可能已經變得很嚴重。 關節炎在狗和貓身上同樣常見，對！別看喵喵可以靈活地跳上跳落，不代表他們沒有關節炎，只是他們隱藏得比較好而已。 關節炎是一個很疼痛的疾病，不但影響動物的日常活動，也會令他們的生活質素大大下降，例如沒胃口、沒精神、不想跟主人互動等等……寵物作為家人的一份子，我們有責任確保他們活得開開心心，不受疼痛折磨，來跟我們了解多一些關節炎的預防，照顧和護理吧！

Osteoarthritis and Care
Long-term illnesses or diseases that require ongoing treatment can feel overwhelming for pet parents. Diseases like diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney diseases, and painful joints can be challenging, and seeing the pets suffer from diseases can be extremely stressful for pet owners. Many chronic conditions can be managed with special diets, prescription medications, and nursing care, but the key to success is how effective you can cope with the veterinary plan and the emotional stress of caring for a pet with a chronic illness.
