Chronic Kidney Disease and Care
Long-term illnesses or diseases that require ongoing treatment can feel overwhelming for pet parents. Diseases like diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney diseases, and painful joints can be challenging, and seeing the pets suffer from diseases can be extremely stressful for pet owners. Many chronic conditions can be managed with special diets, prescription medications, and nursing care, but the key to success is how effective you can cope with the veterinary plan and the emotional stress of caring for a pet with a chronic illness.
